I've been reading all night, and I just signed up for the forum because I have to ask:

Is Sadako's Victorian school (in the late 750s, page-wise) inspired at all by the Wonderworks version (or any other version) of A Little Princess? Or the novel? It was one of my favorite works of fiction (in both forms) growing up, and my mind swooped rather decidedly back to it as soon as I saw the pinafores and cranky teacher.
Looking at it from a less childhood-inflected perspective, I still can't help but seeing some similarities between Sadako and Sara Crewe, especially when language and fantasy come into play.

So... not a terribly crucial question, but it's rare that one gets a chance to ask this kind of question when reading something (which is a general truth I'm planning on incorporating into some sort of academic work on webcomics some day), and I couldn't pass up the chance. Thanks for reading!
