(picture heavy) Sims 2 + YUME = awesome? UPDATED

This is a bit unrelated but I couldn't think of where else to mention it. I was just at the store and I saw a younger girl whose hair reminded me of Fionas. If Fiona shaved it pretty short but kept the white bangs long.

Woah... Love it~ Lia's all pwetty, Lucy has *awesome* eyeshadow, and wittle Fiona is so adorable ... I need this game.

i gotta go delete like... everything on my XP and maybe ill just use it for sims. i miss it so ;_; i used to play it at a friends house and she had more packs, but then her comp died.
and i have waaaaay too many mods/cc in one folder and i dont know how i can possibly go thru it all but i dont wana lose everything..... ;_; voglio.

For literally? I'm buying that now. Screw Sims 2. That was so five minutes ago.

LOL. It's not even that great. I may or may not have tried a not so legal version on a friend's computer... I'm not the only one who isn't happy with it and it seems that a good lot of them reviewed it on Amazon, so I'd check those out first (as well as the system requirements and whether or not your computer is a few years old or brand spankin new) before rushing out to buy it.

Plus it ships with not enough items (hair, clothes, home objects) and EA have set up a Sims 3 Store....all of the stuff in the store totals up to just under 300$ (100 points = 1$), with some of the sets costing around 20$ (with way less items than a stuff pack ever had). So unless you're willing to get these things from less legal means....you either pay big bucks or are stuck with the very few choices EA left you with.

(As a side note, EA has teamed up with TSR and that....UGH. )

I, however, loved it. More than 2 body types to choose from? I'm sold right there. Seriously. That fact alone made me want this game.
And the personality setup is way cooler.

I don't expect them to have a lot of stuff right from the get-go. I don't think it has any less stuff than Sims 2 did when it first came out. Give it time, there will be more stuff. But there won't be if nobody buys the game, because developers don't make more stuff for games people aren't buying. First you buy, then they make more stuff.

Though I do love the fat sims, and you can make them fat everywhere not just in the boobs and bum, and I love the traits, but the rest? BAH! Bah I say! I too may or may not have tried the not legal copy, I always do, if I like it I buy it if not I delete it. I played it for half a day, now it's off the computer it might have, might not have been on.

Sims 2 = WIN.

xD I pre-ordered my Sim 3 in March. O_O Personaly I love it. I agree there's not that much stuff to start but yea, kinda guessed that much. I felt that the set-up and game play were great! ^^
The one thing that bothered me most.....NO lip,eyebrow,nose, and other piercings!

really, i kind of liked doing all of the mundane stuff. i havent played 3 yet, but ive had a few people tell me about it (and been goin on the sites and all xD)
i like the genetic and body stuff, but the other gameplay just seems kind of weird. i mean, its main selling point is that you can sit back and watch the sims go around and.... isnt it kinda dull?

ps: do the newborns really get wrapped in a poorly laid blue blanket? could they not figure out a way to clothe the things finally?

I don't even like the face/skin/genetics shit much either though. Sure, there's no Goopy or Nervous Subject BUT...they all look the same! I didn't even care what sim my created one married b/c THEY LOOK THE SAME. >.>

PS Yes. The horrible blue/pink blanket larva babies. Blue is only for boys and pink is only for girls. I mean, come on EAxis....you gave us full gay marriage (as opposed to the "joined union" of Sims 2), but you can't give us options of the ugly larva-larva like baby blanket that they are forced to wear?

I hadn't played it in months (for some reason it'd crash my pc when I booted it up) but I upgraded my ram and now I can play it like there is no tomorrow (on all the highs too o-o). Tomorrow after work I'll get a few screenies of what they look like in my pc.

my boss offered to give me all of his sims 2 eps and the base and the stuff packs.
i would perfere the diaper babies instead of the stupid blankets. why cant they just put them in a onesie or something?

Yeah, I got one of those "quasi-legal" versions, as well. Hell, everything about me is quasi-legal.

I messed around with it for a couple of hours before going back to my re-play of Mass Effect, but it looked ok. I couldn't get my Sim to not look like a downs patient, but I assumed that was just my utter lack of artistic ability regarding facial features.

But the moment my Sim got an opportunity at work to stay late and impress the boss, and missed their ride home, and popped out of a building downtown after work was done and I had to call a cab, I liked it a lot. I thought that was really, really neat. That they actually GO somewhere when they go to work.

heh though I don't have the hair. I tried my best XD.
