Shocklance, remember how she got here - she dreamed her way in! I went back to the beginning of the second part, and though she was banished by Sadako (I always want to say Sudoku!), she forced her way into an empty "dream room" with the help of the dream book. Then, she and Mary didn't leave through the door that someone else opened, but rather through a door she made...
I think this is all her dream space! She would have complete control through lucid dreaming, and she's just beginning to realize it. Problem is, her dreamspace is in dreamworld, but dreamworld is also in her dreamspace - and I think truly lucid dreamers can control dreamworld. Like Sadako, maybe?
After all, like Don said at the beginning of the second part about his friend, Fi; "She made things interesting around here"!
She was afraid of the claws, and they hurt her. As soon as she was distracted by fighting the Baku, the arm doesn't seem to be bothering her, or even bleeding much anymore. Then her plan-y plan plan actually worked, silly as it was. In a panel or two, I expect she'll realize she can heal herself. She's a lot more in control than she knows, and I expect it's gonna get real interesting, real soon!
